Who we are
WeQYouA Trivia Feud ("the game") is made by Wicked Media, Denmark. Wicked Media is responsible for the personal data
described here. Questions or requests: michaelolesendk@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your account: the name, profile picture and email address you share when you sign in with Facebook or Google,
or the name and email you enter yourself. For email accounts we store your password only as a salted hash.
- Game data: your games, answers, scores, wins, friends and challenges.
- Country: worked out from your IP address when you sign in, so opponents can see your flag. We do not store the IP address.
- Device and app data: a random ID the app creates on install, the app version, and the push token used to send you
"your turn" notifications.
- Usage statistics: simple events such as app opened, game started or invite opened, used to improve the game.
We do not ask for your contacts, location, photos, camera or microphone.
How we use it
- To run the game: sign you in, match you with opponents, show your name and picture to the players you play against,
and let friends find and challenge you.
- To send notifications when it is your turn or a friend challenges you (you can turn these off in your phone's settings).
- To show ads that keep the game free.
- To find and fix problems and improve the game.
We never sell your personal data.
Services we use
- Google AdMob shows ads and may use your device's advertising ID. In the EU/EEA and UK you are asked for consent
first, and you can change your choice at any time under Menu → Privacy options in the game.
See how Google uses data.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) delivers notifications.
- Facebook Login and Google Sign-In, if you choose to sign in with them.
These companies process data under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account while you use the game. If you delete your account, your name, picture, email, password, country,
friends and device data are removed right away. Finished games your opponents played against you remain in their history,
but you are shown as "Former player". Anonymous usage statistics may be kept.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by writing to
michaelolesendk@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency
(Datatilsynet).
Children
The game is not made for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has
created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
